Sojitz Systems Corporation

Since its foundation in May 1985 as a system company in charge of Nichimen Group information strategies, our company, thanks to your patronage, will in this period now mark its 20th year. Our company, of "Nichimen Computer Systems: NCS" changed its corporate name to "Sojitz Systems Corporation: SSC", along with creation of Sojitz Corporation as a result of merger between our parent company Nichimen and Nissho Iwai on April 1st, 2004. We started accelerating the innovation of
management to attain successive "Transformation", "Fusion", and "Growth" in a coming new era and to expand our business.

The environment surrounding the Information Technology Industry seems to be improving and enterprises started to increase strategic and aggressive investments on IT after the long-term recession in this field. Moreover, the latest advances in information technology such as more
sophisticated network infrastructures and rapid spread of mobile information terminals is contributing to creation of new diversified services and products like mobile phone, IC RFID, IP phones. However, there is a very real limit on how far a single company can go in providing all the latest in technology and products for services that satisfy customer needs.

Our expertise is know-how nurtured from our long term business experience of system development, maintenance and operation for Nichimen group companies. In order to exert this expertise and concentrate on market-driven services and products, we established 4 business divisions including SI (System Integration) Division, SM (System Management) Division, NW (Network Integration) Division and International Business Division, and realize corroboration of each divisions to maximize our resources into core business. We will also work energetically to form a strategic alliance with strong partners to meet diversified needs of markets.

We drew up and "SSC Innovative Mid-Term Management Strategy" in March 2004, with the aim of building up a strong company which can achieve public stock offering by the end of 2005 fiscal year, and we are now implementing all the plans into activities in line with this strategy. We are now pushing ahead at full speed to reform our company not only by achieving even higher level of quality for services and products, but also introducing human resource development, new business development program, and PM (Project Management) standards, involving every individual including aggressive young employees. We believe that rapid attainment of each employee's goal will be the only way to create a stable and strong foundation of our company and maximize our presence in this industry.

Finally, while keeping the concept "high-quality, speed, low-cost" constantly in mind as a mutual policy by everyone at our company, we have again pledged to "aggressively challenge" ourselves to provide fine services and products considering customer's viewpoints in mind.
